The refurbishment of Arthur’s Bar in Omagh was delivered by AMD Property and Construction with a clear focus on preserving the character of a long-established local pub while upgrading it for modern hospitality use. Acting as main contractor, we carried out a full internal refurbishment including plasterboard and plaster finishes, traditional-style joinery, bar works, ceilings, specialist finishes, and full painting and decorating. A key element of the project was the creation of a new external drinking area, formed and finished to complement the existing building and enhance customer capacity without compromising the pub’s identity. Careful programme management and sequencing allowed the works to be delivered efficiently, resulting in a robust, character-led venue that respects tradition while meeting contemporary operational demands
